David Gately Horse Racing Tips for Randwick 12/7/25

We’re back racing at Royal Randwick on a Good/Soft surface, with fine weather expected in the lead-up to Saturday’s meeting.

The rail is out 6 metres, following a 3-metre position last meeting where runners were getting away from the inside.

With minimal rain forecast, expect a fair racing surface with opportunities for both on-pacers and run-on types, depending on race tempo.

Dominant fresh win in a fast-run race where her late splits were clearly superior.

She’s a lightly raced daughter of Dundeel and looks to have returned in terrific order.

Drawn well again and gets in light with the claim.

Everything points to a repeat performance here.

 

Best Roughie of the Day

Race 8 No.11 – KING RATEL $26.00

This gelding caught the eye last start when forced to take inside runs late in the slower ground, yet still powered to the line impressively.

Now up to the mile third-up, he gets the ideal setup to show his best.

Admittedly needs to win more often, but $26 is a big price in a race lacking standout form.
