David Gately Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 19/4/25

BET OF THE DAY (Melbourne)

Mornington – Race 4, No.4 – IMMEDIACY

Was enormous first-up at Flemington when forced to come from last in a race completely dominated by those on speed.

He was the clear best closer and should only improve second-up — a pattern he’s followed before, including a strong Naturalism Stakes run last prep.

He’s won second-up in the past and this looks like his race to lose.

 

BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)

Randwick – Race 3, No.1 – SWIFTFALCON

Two starts back he was enormous coming wide against a track bias, and last start he gave away a huge head start to the in-form Evaporate before rocketing home late.

This looks a far more suitable set-up and if he gets clear air, expect him to be storming past them late.

Perfect race for him to break through.
