Best Bet - Race 6 #3 IMMEDIACY

His first-up run may have gone under the radar, but Immediacy was the best closer in a race dominated by the on-speed brigade, a true hidden gem of a run.

He then comfortably accounted for Foujita San, who’d franked his form in Group 3 company prior.

He stays at the mile and draws to get a gun run just off the speed.

With natural progression and peak fitness, Immediacy looks poised to go back-to-back.

This filly impressed on debut, running down Steadfast, who has tied form with one of today’s key players in Global Eclipse.

She was then far from disgraced in the Group 3 Auraria Stakes, where she held her ground and shaped as a filly wanting further.

She gets exactly that here, rising to 2000m, which should suit her down to the ground.

At $8 in early markets, she looks a great each-way play in a winnable staying race.
