The lineup for the $4 million All-Star Mile has been finalised, featuring 12 runners ready to compete at Caulfield this Saturday.
Among them is the defending champion Mr Brightside and his main rival Ciaron Maher’s formidable mare, Pride Of Jenni.
This upcoming clash marks their third encounter, with Mr Brightside seeking vengeance after Pride Of Jenni's victory in the Group 1 Kennedy Champions Mile last season.
However, their battle is just one aspect of Saturday’s main event, which boasts a diverse field, including contenders from three states and New Zealand.
So with such a grand stage set, why are punters snubbing it?
The All-In boys have weighed in on where it has gone all so wrong for the Victorian Racing Club, plus throw a few tips in.

Where has it gone wrong for the All Star Mile?
With over $4 million up for grabs, this race was set to be the crown jewel of the Victorian Autumn Carnival.
Organisers had the event tagged to rival The Everest for longer distance runners.
Mick Gannon was vocal off the bat labelling the event as "disappointing".
Lewie Willoughby was quick to echo these sentiments, "The whole concept has completely fallen apart unfortunately, it was always going to be a struggle from the start".
"You had horses entered off the back of fan votes and these BM58 'pluggers' owned by huge syndicates were able to enter themselves against Group 1 horses, and rightfully got lapped".
"Something desperately needs to happen to fix it".
Dean Watling highlighted the silver lining of the concept, "Sometimes you need something to be really bad, instead of moderate, to get changes to happen".
"The people in charge will learn from this and make sure next year is back to its best".
Notwithstanding the boys urges for change, they still wanted to have a play in the race.

Lewie Willoughby
Pride Of Jenni will get a really soft lead and given Mr Brightside's racing pattern he will have a task reeling her in.
Dean Watling
I couldn't possibly take Mr Brightside at the current price and think the value lies with Pride Of Jenni.
She has been terrific at her first two runs this campaign and the step up in distance will see her use her speed attribute to really stretch the field.
