Something for all punters

Say what you will about the $3.75 million All-Star Mile, but this Caulfield program is terrific from a betting standpoint.
There is a bit of everything for all punters, with some short-priced favourites who look close to morals as well as some long shots who have the ability to cause a boilover.
The track is currently rated as a Good 4 and with warm weather forecast, there is a good chance it gets to a Good 3 on race day.
The running rail is out 6m the entire circuit, after previously being out 4m, and will make it ideal to land on-pace.

Cody Lane Tips and Best Bets
Cody Lane continues to find value amongst his best bets.
Caulfield Race 3 #10 Wolfy $5.50
This 3YO colt looks well placed here down in class and against the older horses.
First up he put in a meritable effort when coming from the rear of the field to run 9th in the G3 Zediative Stakes.
While that might not look flash on paper, the form out of that race has really stacked up with 6th placed ‘Legacies’ winning last Saturday and other rivals since running well in strong events.
He stays at the 1200m second-up, the blinkers come off and the winkers go on for the first time in his career.
He looks to get a fast enough tempo set for him to get his chance to run on from the back.
If he finds close to his best, hard to not see him being in the finish.
Caulfield Race 5 #1 Nugget $3.20
Top weight Nugget gives his rivals 5kg here but I believe class will prevail.
It was a top run in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes behind ‘Mr Brightside’ last start at the 1400m and will greatly appreciate the drop in grade to a Listed race here.
The rise in distance to the 1600m is perfect and he goes well second-up (6:2-2-0).
Look for him to land just off the pace from barrier 5 and get every chance with top senior jockey Mark Zahra in the saddle.
The last time he ran in a Listed race, he carried 60kg to victory with ease over the 1700m on a Good 3 track.
He gets almost identical conditions on Saturday and can prove too sharp once again.
Jack Dickens Tips and Best Bets
Jack Dickens was in the #10 tipsters in Australia in 2023.
Flemington Race 7 #11 Peace Treaty $1.95
I love the set up for this filly with leading rider Jamie Kah booked.
She map extremely well, pushing forward from barrier 3 to land in the first four.
Peace Treaty looks to be progressing nicely and won very well last start around the Valley.
Not only did she put pay to rivals in second gear to frank the form even further, we have seen horses run well out of the race.
She has had a jump out in between runs and by the way she extended gives the indication she has improved even further.
Good luck to those who are having a bet on Saturday, watch and adapt as the races unfold and hopefully we all back a winner.

Michael Manley Tips and Best Bets
Michael Manley continues to nail his best bets at a good clip.
Flemington Race 1 #7 Carini $1.95
Danny O’Brien’s stable is in great form and this imported galloper looks perfectly placed.
At his last start he finished fifth in the Blamey Stakes at Flemington over 1600m where he was beaten 1.3 lengths by Group 1 winner Atishu.
He drops substantially in class and also in weight. He’s won twice at Longchamp in France over 2000m.
He will be ridden by Damian Lane and should get punters off to a flying start.
