We're up and about for Friday night racing at Canterbury this week with 8 races set to be run and won around the tight turning circuit.
The rail is out 3m for the entire circuit, whilst the track is currently rated a Soft 5 following thunderstorms in Syndey on Thursday evening.
Luke Hovhanesian has nailed down his best bets for the meeting.
Canterbury tips from Luke Hovhanesian
Luke has steered punters into his $5.00 best bet at Muswellbrook on Friday.
Race 3 #9 Decisively $7.00
The market has missed one here and this Chris Waller runner can surprise at odds.
He was brilliant in his last trial when three wide without cover and powering to the line under grips.
He finished third on that occasion and past the line was given a little rein and exploded to join the winner of the trial.
James McDonald fresh from his HK stint joins him in the saddle and from barrier 7 should position him well in the moving line.
If he gets a crack at them he should be storming home.
Race 8 #5 Command Approved $13.00
I want to have a throw at the stumps here on this 4YO gelding who's last start effort was a lot better than the form guide suggests.
He was caught chasing a tear away leader and compounded late.
He will strip fitter for that effort and has plenty of early toe to navigate the wide barrier.
The Maher/Eustace combo will have him primed here second up and with Kerrin McEvoy booked they mean business.
He has strong formlines from previous campaigns and any return to his best will see him be very competitive here.
He handles all track conditions and will enjoy the drop in grade.
Looks great value at the current quote.
