Brad Davidson from Sky Racing spoke to the Big Sports Breakfast team on Wednesday, Bendigo Cup Day. Before we get stuck into Davo's intel, check-out his performance on Cox Plate Day last Saturday.

Brad Davidson's Saturday Sky Tips performance

Punters who followed Brad's Sky Racing Tips last Saturday will be well oiled and ready to follow again after Davo filled their betting accounts.

At Moonee Valley, Davidson tipped no less than five winners to finish with 39% profit on turnover (POT) which is $390 profit from $100 win bets.

Brad had four winners at Randwick giving his followers another win with 19% profit on turnover

Golden Eagle Race

With the barrier draw done, Gerard asked Davo for his view on which horses had an advantage and others which were worse off after the draw. Here's what he said.

Davo commented that most of the favourite runners drew well with Hawaii Five O in four, Amelia's Jewel in 5 and Legarto in barrier six.

The key loser amongst those horses in the betting was Kovalica who drew barrier 16 in Saturday's big race.

Early signals from Davo included Amelia's Jewel who "trialled the house down" and caution around Kovalica who in addition to his poor barrier is likely to want longer than the 1500 metres.

Melbourne Cup

Josh Renyolds mentioned Jamie Kah's riding change to now steer Irish visitor More Felons in the Cup. Davo was impressed with it's eye catching run in the Geelong Cup and has it as a sneaky chance in the big race on Tuesday.

Davo noted More Felons can get the distance and acknowledge the class of Jamie onboard gives the horse a real chance in the race.

Gerard prompted Davo for his view on the Melbourne Cup early favourite Vauban which showed $3.50 on the TAB Melbourne Cup market while on air.

Some interesting notes from Davo. He was blown away by the horse's performance in track work. When asked to go, he left the pace horse in his dust.

He went on to say that connections have a great history of preparing horses for the Cup and they had earmarked the Melbourne Cup for Vauban back in March 2022. So there's no doubt they have a serious horse and they're also serious about winning the race.

Brad Davidson's Tips and Best Bets

Davo's best bet today is an all-up across two races at Randwick-Kensington today. In Race One he likes number #5 Mogwai which is currently paying $1.80 all-up Race Three Doomben #5 Radiant Remi paying $1.90. At current quotes the multi pays $3.42.
