Brad Davidson – Randwick Saturday Best Bets 19/6/26

Race 6 – #9 Tazima

Tazima continues to race consistently and looks well placed to make it back-to-back victories.

He was impressive winning on wet ground last start, showing both toughness and versatility to put the race away when it mattered most.

Importantly, his form suggests he is equally effective on rain-affected tracks or firmer surfaces, giving punters confidence regardless of any late weather changes.

The partnership with Sienna Grima is another major positive.

She knows the gelding well and has developed a strong understanding of how to get the best out of him.

With fitness, confidence and race conditions all in his favour, Davidson expects another bold showing.

Next Best Bet

Race 7 – #2 Ice Kool

Ice Kool made a statement first-up and looks capable of going on with it.

His resuming victory was effortless, travelling strongly throughout before putting his rivals away with plenty in hand.

The performance suggested he has returned an improved horse and Davidson believes he profiles as the type that can work his way through the winter carnival grades.

There appears to be plenty of upside still to come and if he reproduces anything close to his first-up effort, he'll take a power of beating again.

The rise in class is the obvious challenge, but based on what he showed fresh, he looks more than capable of measuring up.
