Lethal Payne places to perfection

Our Early Market Movers continue to fill the pockets of followers. It was another clinical performance last week with both Detroit City ($3.40) and Gentleman Roy ($12.80) saluting in style.
Early betting and the flow of sharp money this week have again forced several significant moves.
With a return to Moonee Valley, key betting stables are out in force and active, with a Patrick Payne runner of particular interest.
Whilst at Randwick Bjorn Baker looks to have placed one perfectly, and with the prospect of “black type” for this mare, should have her primed to the minute.

Moonee Valley Tips
Immortal Star
Arrives first-up and is likely to be showing the O’Brien camp plenty at home, to warrant this early support in betting.
She has the first-up record (2:1-0-0) to suggest she will be ready fresh, and draws low (barrier 2) to receive an economical run.
If the speed goes on, she should be the one dropping on them late.
Dashing Duchess
Has the services of Mark Zahra on this occasion which is a significant upgrade from Teo Nugent and could bring good improvement.
She is now rock-hard fit following plenty of recent racing, where she only just missed (2 of 11) at Flemington last start when ground home well.
A positive ride from Zahra here and she should be right up in the firing line throughout.
Mathew
Is from the lethal betting yard of Patrick Payne who typically places them to perfection.
Coming off a Sandown Benchmark 78 win last start this is harder now up to BM 100 level, however I interpret the confidence as a significant positive.
The horse must have come on well since his last effort and certainly deserves his chance in the higher grades.
Maximillian Ceasar
UK Import who over-raced at his Australian debut when a touch fresh and not expected to do much at Caulfield.
He appears much better suited here following the “sighting” run last start and with added fitness can improve.
He can lead and run them along in this and with the stout UK tuition should be able to grind them all into the ground.
Randwick Tips
Ce Cessoirees La
An interesting runner who arrives here following a 3rd of 8 placing at Canterbury Park, where she did finish close (0.8 lengths) to the winner.
She looks primed third-up following the tough effort last time and could still have plenty of improvement to come.
If they have some luck slotting in from the wide draw (gate 11) midfield with cover, she can peel and storm home as she likes.
Space Age
Is simply flying and no reason why he can’t continue the excellent recent form here, in a race that appears to lack depth.
He was excellent winning at this course and distance last start when fought hard to win, after being challenged in the straight.
The 3kg claiming rider will help offset topweight, and with a mid-draw (gate 6) they can roll forward and prove very hard to run down.
Shezanalister
Love the placement here by Bjorn who knows a win or placing here for a mare at Group level sends the value of the horse well North.
He should have her primed to the minute, where on a low weight (54kg) and in a weak edition of the Missile Stakes, she looks to have a huge chance!
She should camp just in behind the first pair, sucking up for a long way before slicing through late.
World Alliance
He was heavily backed ($2.30 into $2.10) here last start when nothing went right, when he found himself in the wrong part of the track.
The team will certainly be desperate to atone in this, after truck-loading him last start and coming up with no reward.
Look for Jason Collett to make no mistakes on this occasion, and form gate 1 he should give the horse a very positive ride.
