This week the look at both key venues and the significant betting moves witnessed in early markets at Moonee Valley and Randwick.
These early fluctuations can often provide an excellent guide on where sharp stable money is flowing.
In Melbourne, the Hayes boys are at it again with a good chance that has been well backed mid-way through the card.
Whilst at Randwick, Tommy Berry remains hell-bent on returning to a dominant level in the Sydney riding ranks, and teams up with Annabelle Neasham on one that must be showing them plenty at home.

Moonee Valley Tips
Brooklyn Boss
Last start winner at Pakenham when also well supported in betting ($5.50 into $4.20) late before winning well.
The senior jockey booking here says a lot, with Damien Lane as the leading rider usually having his pick of a few in each race.
I expect the gun jockey has had a sit on him over the past few weeks and is aware this runner can make the leap to Saturday city grade.
Running By
Was sent to Sydney on a successful hit and run mission last start when fought hard to lead all the way at Randwick.
Rock hard fit now, she looks very well suited out to a 1600m trip for this, and should again run them along and be extremely hard to get past late.
Although up to Benchmark 88 grade, this field looks a touch easier than the recent Sydney assignment and she should capitalise.
Independent Road
The Hayes stable is simply flying and have this runner racing exceptionally well this preparation, with 2 wins from 4 starts.
He had genuine excuses last start when finishing 4 of 10 at Geelong, where forced to do it tough from a wide position facing the breeze.
The last start effort where he worked hard over the 1700m should have him cherry ripe to tackle the 2040m journey here, and he is expected to be one of the strongest late.
Mornington Glory
Was an impressive run down the Flemington straight last start when hit the line had to win off a brutal tempo made up front.
Although up in grade slightly here to Benchmark 78 level, he strikes a weak race outside carnival time and looks to be in good enough form to make the progression.
Expect he is ridden close to speed before pressing the go button at the 200m and grinding this field into the ground.
Randwick Tips
Russian Roulette
Races for the high-profile ownership group who are looking to make a stallion out of him.
He has won both trial hit-outs, and as per the stable regime expect he is fully wound up and ready to sit right on top off the pace throughout.
Gai/Bott have been in excellent recent form producing there 2yo stock, especially the valuable commodities for the big-name owners. They should continue their winning way here.
Acapella Sunset
She simply got too far back here last start in a run that should be considered a complete forgive.
With a low draw (gate 4) and a claiming apprentice aboard, expect on this occasion they will be much more positive out of the barriers, to take a more ideal position closer in the run.
From midfield with cover she will be much better suited and can get home hard over the top.
Manbehindthemoney
Tommy Berry has never been hungrier for success! and teams up with Annabelle Neasham here, on a horse that appears ready to peak third-up.
This runner has had a recent trip to QLD where although beaten, the travel and experience can often have a positive residual effect on their mindset.
Expect he has shown them something above average in trackwork this week and he looks ready now in a very winnable race.
Amor Victorious
Arrives first-up following an outstanding preparation last time in, where won twice.
He has been readied with two solid trial hit-outs recently, hence should be fit enough to be in the finish here, with the booking of money rider Josh Parr also an excellent guide he is ready to fire.
From gate 4 they can use his tactical speed to lead or sit just in behind the first pair. There are plenty of options here for a horse with his elite gate mannersm
