Ballina Tips from Luke Hovhanesian

Race 2 #4 Bertinelli $2.20

This 3YO is now ready to show her best after a disappointing 2YO campaign.

Her recent trial was very eye-catching coming from an off-speed position to cruise to the line.

She comes up against Icedriesling who won that trial, but was pushed out in comparison to Bertinelli.

She looks to have matured well, is racing less green and can put these rivals away before moving onto bigger and better things.

 

Race 5 #4 Adelaide Fever $10.00

Another runner for the M J Dunn stable who can surprise at big odds.

He will push forward from the wide barrier to take up the running, a position favoured at Ballina.

His recent trial was quiet but the early support gives confidence he is flying at home.

Ben Looker is in the saddle and will give him every chance at each-way odds.
