Another pearler from our early market movers, nailing two winners at Flemington last Saturday, including Jimmy Recard at $7.10.

This week we’ve seen several key betting stables get active early, targeting select runners at both major venues.

At Caulfield, the Graham Begg stable has launched at a 2YO filly in the opener, and stable intel + key ownership adds to the confidence.

While at Randwick, Nathan Doyle and Paul Messara are both on the radar with runners well-supported in early markets, suggesting clear intent.

Caulfield Tips

Caulfield Tips

Castellito

The Begg yard is deadly when they bet and this 2YO debutant is the one they’ve identified early in the day.

Ownership includes Ross Ferris of Two Bays Farm, which means everything’s been done right at home.

If the money firms further, this filly can strike on debut.

Shadhavar

Possesses genuine black-type form from last prep, mixing it with the likes of Tropicus.

Has trialled nicely leading into this and gets a perfect setup first-up in slightly easier grade.

If they’ve targeted this, she can absolutely blow this field away.

Supercilious

Consistent type who now gets out to a more suitable 1400m after hitting the line over 1100m at Flemington.

She’s tactically versatile and will appreciate the tighter Caulfield turn where she can stalk and strike.

Third-up now, ready to peak.

Momets

The Moody/Coleman + Craig Williams combo always demands respect, especially over 2000m where this horse now looks ideally placed.

Finished just behind Taken last start and should strip much fitter here.

Expect him to be right in the finish.

Randwick Tips

In Summer

Messara brings this mare back for another Sydney Highway raid, suggesting strong confidence.

Ran very well first-up on a Heavy track, and now second-up with clear improvement expected.

If the track dries out even marginally, she will relish it.

Aroha Stone

The Nathan Doyle yard knows when to launch, and they came oh-so-close last start at Warwick Farm.

Well-supported then and again here, and you’d expect they’ve kept him up to the mark with this race in mind.

He’s flying at home and looks one of the key bets of the day.

Pippie Beach

Big name ownership (Francis Cook) plus the Waller polish.

Draws perfectly in gate 3 and is now fourth-up, traditionally Waller's go-to point to win.

Expect Charlie Duckworth to signal a positive ride, positioning closer in-run.

She's primed to deliver.

It’s A Knockout

Put them to the sword last start with a devastating 4L win and has been well found again in early markets.

Yes, up in grade but the map, gate and form are all in her favour.

If there’s any improvement (and there likely is), she dominates again.
