This week we have both major venues covered with a number of key betting moves that have generated plenty of interest in early markets.
At Flemington, a smaller stable has one engaged for influential owner Gerry Harvey, where the motivational aspect could hardly be any higher.
Meanwhile at Randwick, the Ciaron Maher yard have a runner with a similar profile for one of their key ownership groups, and you can be confident they will have him primed to impress.

Star Of Macedon
We love the motivation theory in this column and it doesn't come much stronger than this for the Symons/Laxon team training for one of racing's biggest players, Gerry Harvey.
The horse has been excellent at both career starts, never missing a placing, while the market support at Caulfield last time suggested he is showing the stable plenty behind closed doors.
It would be no surprise if connections have been told to have a decent wager and expect this colt to be ready to produce his best performance yet.
Choir Point
An interesting betting move against the heavily supported favourite Ice Kool, which says plenty in itself.
She won impressively at Caulfield last start after circling the field and displaying real strength through the line.
That performance suggested she is a filly with significant upside and if the money continues to arrive late, it would only add confidence that she can measure up again.
Ten Commandments
Produced one of the runs of the meeting first-up at Sandown when charging home from the tail in dynamic fashion.
Provided there is no second-up flat spot, the added fitness should only enhance his chances here.
If he can find the moving line with cover, expect him to peel into clear running and be storming down the middle of the Flemington straight late.
Al Duca
The market has been hesitant to support the Freedman stable in recent weeks given the off-track noise, however that certainly hasn't stopped punters here.
His Bendigo run can be forgiven after being trapped wide and forced to work throughout, making it impossible to finish off.
With a more economical run expected this time, he profiles as one of the major improvers in the race.

Nitro
Was one of the bigger talking horses at Randwick last start but simply gave himself too much to do after settling well back.
The rise to 1600m looks ideal and should allow him far more time to build through his gears.
The booking of Tommy Berry is a significant positive and his aggressive riding style could be exactly what this horse needs.
Sounds Unusual
This Waller stayer is another who receives a notable rider upgrade with Tommy Berry taking over.
He was excellent last start when winning over 1800m after making ground from well back on a day where it wasn't easy to do so.
Now rock-hard fit, expect Berry to have him closer in the run and giving himself every chance to strike at the right time.
Sunshine In My Pocket
Has been one of the stable's most talked-about runners all week and the confidence from camp appears genuine.
The ownership group is highly influential and there will be plenty of motivation to produce a result.
Second-up is traditionally a strong stage of his preparation and with Nash Rawiller booked, the signs suggest they mean business.
General Salute
The Ryan & Alexiou stable are never shy about backing one they like and this horse appears to fit the profile.
He returned with a strong first-up performance at Randwick when finishing second behind a smart winner after running right through the line.
Fitter now and nearing peak condition, he looks ready to improve again and with even luck from the wide barrier should be fighting out the finish.
