Today's edition of free best bets heads to Scone, where punters have a 7 race card to dissect.

The rail is out 6m from the 800m mark to the winning post and 4m for the remainder of the circuit, with the track rated a Soft 6.

Check out my two best plays below and you can back the remainder of my tips via HOT Bet here.

Scone Race 2 Tip #3 El Super $4.00

This son of Vadamos finds a very winnable race on debut and looks the only danger to the $1.45 favourite.

He's had two 1000m trials in readiness for the 1400m and while he'll no doubt improve beyond this distance as he matures, it wouldn't surprise to see him give a sight.

At his first trial, he settled mid-field before closing off well under the urgings of Tommy Berry. He then travelled to Hawkesbury for his second trial, where he found the front only to be run down late.

His main rival Poseidon Ruler looks a huge risk third-up here. First-up he finished 4 of 7 over 900m at Newcastle, before stretching out to 1300m at Dubbo last start where he tired late. He'll be forced to carry 60kg over 1400m this time around and I simply can't entertain the odds on offer.

While El Super is no superstar, at the $4 quote I'm happy to gamble that he has more ability than his rivals.

Scone Race 6 Tip #6 Princess Amira $2.60

I'm keen to bet up on this Waterhouse-Bott trained filly.

The stable knows how to place their runners and we have seen this type of formula work successfully in the past, where juveniles graduate from provincial grade and go on to win in the city next start.

This Written Tycoon filly was strong on debut, running 1.38 lengths fourth before dictating to her rivals second-up, producing a strong win over subsequent winner Rondino.

She's only had the one trial leading into this, however we have to trust that she'll be fit enough to win first-up given the yard usually have them ready to go early in their preps.

From the wide barrier here, I expect her to be ridden to lead before producing a good kick at the top of the straight.

There doesn't look to be much pressure up front so all things being equal, she'll give a huge sight and should be winning today.
