Morphettville Parks is currently rated a Good 4, with the rail out 7m from the 1000m to the winning post and 4m the remainder.

The forecast is for mild weather on Saturday, but the track is likely to stay in the Good 4 range for the entire meet.

It's advised to watch the first few races and take note of any track bias before betting.

Morphettville Race 2 Tip #4 Set To Sparkle $7.00

This ultra-consistent mare has missed a place on only five occasions from her 16 career starts and has racked up five wins in that time.

She had no luck at her most recent start in the Group Three Tressday Stakes at Flemington. She was forced to do a stack of work from the wide gate on that occasion, before tiring late and beaten 4.85 lengths behind Oergon's Day.

This girl by Hussonet drops signifcantly in grade and returns to her home track, where her record reads 8:2-2-1.

From the better draw in barrier three, expect jockey Barend Vorster to push forward and hold out all challenges to make every post a winner.

Put simply, this mare looks a class above her rivals and looks set to win and win well.

Morphettville Race 3 Tip #4 Valac $2.70

This gelding from the Hayes and Dabernig yard has been building to a win this prep and will relish every bit of the 2250m today.

His last start second in the BM90 at Flemington suggests he's going well and he's found a race with much less quality here.

Drawn barrier four, look for Todd Pannell to push forward and run them in a merry dance up front.

With a win at the track and disatcne and two wins over the 2250m, the writing is on the wall for this galloper.

Morphettville Race 6 Tip #6 Equal Love $4.20

This filly by Equiano has been absolutely flying lately and is now looking for four-wins on the trot.

She drops in grade and will carry extra weight as a result. However, she stays at her favoured distance of 1000m (two from two) and has drawn well in barrier six.

The claim for Georgina Cartwirght is again a huge plus.

Punters can expect Cartwight to once again push forward, sit in the first two and hit the go button on the home turn to hold off all comers.

The $4.20 looks well over the odds for a galloper who has won three in-a-row, dropping in grade and is proven at the track the $4.20 looks well over the odds.
