We found two winners from our 7 early market mover selections last week, with Express Pass ($2.90) getting home at Flemington before Oscar Zulu ($5.00) bolted in at Rosehill.

That made it yet another winning week for our loyal followers, as we continue to go from strength to strength.

This week the early money is flowing for a number of key Waller runners entered at Rosehill.

With the leading riders away, it is up to Brenton Avdulla to steer these popular elects and I expect him to be very keen to make the most of the opportunity.

In Melbourne, a Sydney raider is well fancied and should overcome a wide draw to dictate from out in front.

Caulfield Tips

Viviane

Did enough first-up at Flemington when chasing hard all the way to place 2 of 10 behind a smart one in Argentina.

That race could prove a very strong form reference going forward, and I suspect she is well above average.

Ellerton/Zahra and Damien Lane can be lethal especially for this high-profile owner. They will be motivated here.

Malkovich

Sydney raider from the Bjorn Baker yard who loves to lead and run them into the ground.

He was good winning at Randwick last time out when racing to his usual on-speed pattern, before kicking strongly at the end.

This event does not look overly strong and with his early speed to negate the wide draw (barrier 9), expect the Sydney form to be far superior.

Over The Sky

Is highly talented and arrives here looking to make it 4 wins on the trot.

He was smashed in betting at Warrnambool two starts back and won accordingly, before stepping out to win at Sandown last start.

This is another step up in grade (Benchmark 78), however he deserves his chance and looks well placed.

Kalkarni Royale

Was hard in the market ($3.30) at Geelong last start and won accordingly against a decent field.

She is rock hard fit now being fourth-up and should be one of the strongest late.

Expect her to overcome the wide draw with her natural early speed, where leading or siting outside leader should suit.

The Gauch

Was a winner here last start over the same 1200m distance in a very impressive first up performance.

He just needs to hold form and can possibly improve off the first up run from a fitness angle.

The overall record (8:4-3-0) is imposing and add in Mathew Cartwright’s claim (2kg) and it is hard to bet against him.

Resilient Star

The race did not go to plan last start at Warwick Farm after he jumped awkwardly and was forced to race well back.

Go off the start before at Newcastle, where he ran-on strongly to win with ease.

Dropping back from 1400m to 1300m here also appears in his favour, and with any speed on he should be very strong late.

Wairere Falls

Has been racing well the past few weeks, where you can make genuine excuses he should have won on a number of occasions.

This looks his race with a drop down from Benchmark 78 to a very winnable Benchmark 72 event.

An out off form Brenton Avdulla needs to take every chance he can get, and will be desperate to impress the master trainer here.

Threeood

Has the talent and did place 3 of 17 in Listed grade last start at Eagle Farm.

The second-up stats are sound and from gate 8 expect Jay Ford can position in the moving line with cover.

Joe Pride is a shrewd trainer and would not be attacking stakes grade again if the horse was not flying.

Great House

Waller import who has taken to Sydney racing with ease, winning well at Rosehill first up and always competitive since arriving.

Brenton will again be keen to impress and should have this runner in an ideal striking position throughout, from the good draw (barrier 6).

If the speed is solid up front, expect he simply charges home over the top.

Ulysses

Was a huge run first up here at Randwick, when came with a barnstorming run to place 3 of 7.

He should take good improvement from the first up performance and does have the good second up record (3:2-0-0).

Fitter now, they are likely to ride the horse a touch closer and be in a much better striking position throughout.
