Gold Coast Race 8 Tip #7 Zaaki $6.00

This former UK galloper has put together two nice runs in Sydney for trainer Annabel Neasham.

He has won at Group 3 level in the UK, so this Group 2 Hollindale Stakes looks well within his scope.

First-up he ran on well for 6th, finishing 3.4 lengths off them in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile.

He then stepped up to 2000m in the JRA, where he was grabbed late by Paths Of Glory.

He retains the services of champion jockey James McDonald and dropping back in trip to 1800m looks perfect for him.

McDonald should be able to call on all of his expertise to find a spot midfield with a trail.

Look for him to pull to the outside and finish too good for his rivals and notch up his first win in Australia.

Promising stayer in the making who will relish getting to 2000m for the first time.

He cost himself the race at Flemington last start, by laying in over the concluding stages.

He's well drawn here and has gun jockey Jamie Kah booked to ride.

He is capable of taking up a forward position in the run and with even luck will be hard to beat.

Donald Race 2 Tip #6 Rockribbed $1.80

Put together three eye catching pieces of work now.

He kept kicking after the line in a jump-out at Ararat against some proven stayers, including Mosh Music.

He then went to NSW and won the trial beating winner Anotherthinkcomin.

He since found the line well, to beat home Paparazzi Queen in a Caulfield jump-out, alongside Duke of Neworleans.

There is enough evidence to suggest he will take a stack of beating as most of these are well exposed.

Gold Coast Race 4 Tip #6 Stampe $3.90

This gelding is an improving type and should've finished closer last start.

He was first up for 17 weeks, straight into a Group 2 WFA event and was badly checked at the 150m mark.

He finished off ok to be beaten 2.7-lengths, but would have been in the finish if a clear passage presented.

On the 7 day back up, he drops 4.5kg for this clash and gains the services of Craig Williams, who is coming off a gem of a Group 1 ride on Instant Celebrity.

If Stampe can find cover from the wide gate he is a big chance.

Ascot Race 2 Tip #2 Born To Try $2.05

Born To Try has been given a freshen up after stepping out to a trip for the first time in her career.

That day he was pulling ground off Reliable Star late, who acquitted herself well in the 3YO features. On that occasion, she ran past Marochinno who is arguably the hottest sprinter in the state right now.

1400m is not her ideal distance but she is fresh and has won over the trip before. There is not much depth to her opposition and she is the best animal in the race.

She doesn't have blistering gate speed but in the small field of 8, she should be able to land 3 pairs back on the outside in a moderately run race.

It'll take some good riding by Parnham, but he if he can get her out and going from the 600m she should be putting these away.
