Albion Park Race 5 Tip #7 Glenferrie Hood $3.20

Glenferrie Hood pushed the gate out of the way last week and won easily.

There is a bit of speed drawn underneath him tonight, but considering the way he went last week I can't see why any other runner would take him on.

I have him in front and have rated him $1.70. As much as $15 was bet early in the week, which was insane.

He still represents value at $3.20 and will be hard to run down.

 

Albion Park Race 9 Tip #2 Garland Greene $4.20

Garland Greene should have won last week, when he galloped at the 150m mark.

He has been stepping very well of late and draws outside a steady one early in Greg The Great (1).

Haven't seen this horse in front for a long while, but I think he is nearly unbeatable if he finds that spot.

A lot depends on the start here but if my map is right, he will be winning.

I have him rated $4.10 and I have a feeling we might get better later tonight. 

 

Albion Park Race 10 Tip #1 Warner $7.00 + #3 Kotare Elite $8.50

I like two horses here who are both over the odds.

Warner was unlucky first-up after a good trial. Nathan Dawson in the seat tonight, which is a good push for his chances.

I have him rated $4.00 and from the good gate, he is a great chance.

Kotare Elite gets a good driver change tonight with Isobel Ross taking the seat and I think the mare can run a race.

She has gate speed and could be first to the fence and can be a big improver.

I have priced this horse $4.00 also and I am happy to be on at the $8.50.

Menangle Race 1 Tip #8 Replaced Eye $6.50

Replaced Eye (8) has enough early speed to find the front and lead all the way here.

The seven-year-old comes out of arguably stronger races, where he has performed solidly from the top position.

In a field littered with sit-sprinters, on speed is the place to be and at the price he's a good bet. 

 

Menangle Race 6 Tip #8 Cash N Flow $2.00

Cash N Flow (8) was excellent in scoring here at Menangle last start and this race looks another very winnable assignment.

The Craig Cross-trained gelding was dominant last time. On that occasion he found the front after working early, before exploding away from his rivals in the home straight.

I envisage similar aggressive tactics here and I think we will see the same end result.

 

Newcastle Harness Race 3 Tip #9 Glengarry Rose $3.90

Glengarry Rose (9) has been a consistent performer in recent weeks and looks a good chance in an open race.

The speedy mare has placed in stronger races her past two starts, performances which followed an impressive victory here in February.

Drawing inside of the back row will require a smart drive from Tom Ison, but with a slice of luck I can see her finishing very powerfully.
