Tuesday's best bets head to the heart of the Gippsland region this week, with 8 races set to be run and won at Sale.
The spacious racecourse is currently rated a Good 4, with the rail out 6 metres the entire circuit.
At this set up, expect the track to play fair with all runners getting their chance.
Sale Race 4 Tip #5 Raphael $4.25
This son of Not A Single Doubt missed the start at Pakenham over 1400m last start, going down by 1.5 lengths.
He was strong late to the line and really enjoyed the 1400m journey.
Now third-up, the John McArdle trained three year-old should be fit and ready to fire.
He drops 1kg and gains the services of experienced hoop Jamie Mott, who rode this galloper in the Group 2 Sandown Guineas.
There is a fair bit of pace in this race which will suit him, so Mott has the option of dropping him back in the field and saving him for one last run.
He'll be the one coming home hard out wide over the top of them.
Sale Race 8 Tip #2 Contalmaison $3.55
The son of Rubick won in this BM64 grade two starts back, before running a brave second at his next run.
He is never far away and his on-speed racing style is a big plus.
He gains the services of senior hoop Billy Egan, who will have him positioned nicely in the first three.
From barrier 5 today, Egan will have him poised to strike and on turning for home will no doubt begin to pour on the pressure.
He's proved himself at this level on a few occasions and can do so once again today.
