At his fourth race start, this boy looks ready to peak.

Up to 1500m for this clash looks the perfect trip, as he has been strong through the line at his past couple.

Jockey Craig Newitt sticks with him after finishing second on the Wendy Kelly trained gelding.

Newitt will aim to settle midfield in the run before making his move on the turn.

In this fairly open event, he represents value and could easily break his maiden.

 

Ballarat Race 6 Tip #6 My Boy Birmingham $1.60

This lightly raced McEvoy trained runner eats up the Ballarat synthetic, having won twice and finished second at his only other run on the surface.

In that last start defeat, he led them up in a BM78 before being gathered in late. It's worth noting that the top two spaced the rest of the field.

The lightly raced son of Unemcumbered's only missed placing was on a heavy track at Morphettville.

Back in grade here, Dean Holland will send him straight to the front again where he should get an easy time of it.

He is short in the market so you can expect him to either kick off or close out your multi.

Look for Holland to get the best out of him as they look to move him through the grades.
