Deane Lester's horse racing tips review at Moonee Valley 24th January 2020:
Race 3: #7 Sagarra (Low- 5 units) and #11 Mister Mogul (Low- 5 units)
Deane's first winner on the night was Mister Mogul in Race 3.
It was an impressive statement by the 5YO gelding, who dashed away from the field to win by more than 2 lengths.
Over 1000 metres, this really was an emphatic victory.
Mister Mogul paid a handy $4.90.
Race 4: #2 Sei Stella (High- 25 units)
While Sei Stella wasn't as impressive, she was still good enough to make it back to back wins for Lester.
Damian Lane piloted this fav to victory over the short trip of 955 metres.
She paid $2.70.
Race 5: #8 How Womantic (High- 30 units)
This filly from the Maher and Eustace yard is building a very impressive record.
Her victory on Friday night was her third from as many starts, in what has been a flawless start to her career.
Deane clearly new she was a good thing, by suggesting a high stake bet.
We hope you had a fair bit on, because she got crunched right in to $1.60.
Race 8: #5 Classic Weiwei (High- 20 units)
Deane's final bet came in the last race on the card.
And in what was an open betting race, it was Eureka Street that got home.
Classic Weiwei wasn't quite good enough, finishing in the middle of the bunch.
