NSW metropolitan racing returns to Sydney on Saturday, with a strong nine-race card scheduled for the afternoon.
With hot weather in Sydney all week, there is little doubt the track will start a Good 4 and you can expect an upgrade early in the meeting.
The rail returns to the true position, which should ensure a fair track for all participants.

Rosehill Race 3 Tip #5 Another One $3.20
I have always had a big opinion of this bloke from the Colvin yard, and I can’t wait to see him step out in Saturday’s Highway.
The three-year-old son of Super One debuted back in April, when he finished second behind subsequent Group 1 place-getter Lion’s Roar.
He then followed up that impressive performance with a maiden victory on a wet deck at Wagga, where he did it from both ends over 1300m.
After a 21-week let up, he retuned to the races with an explosive win over 1200m after displaying a blistering turn of foot to run away from his rivals by 3.5 lengths.
On that occasion, he ran the best final 200m of the entire meeting by 2 lengths.
He gets here second-up (1:1:0:0), on a dry deck (1:1:0:0) and stays at 1200m (1:1:0:0) in what looks a perfect set up to continue on his winning ways.
He will need a touch of luck from the gate, but if he can find a back to follow from the half mile home, I expect him to be far too good for his rivals.

Rosehill Race 5 Tip #7 Plaquette $3.20
This four-year-old mare is flying and is knocking on the door for her second win this prep.
She was able to record the fastest last 600m, 400m and 200m sectionals of the day two starts back at Randwick, before producing a cracking run down the Flemington straight.
She was held up on that occasion and was forced to duck inside and out at a crucial stage, but she still ran super.
Back to the Sydney way of going and around a bend for this clash looks a nice set up for her. 1100m is her go and she will enjoy the firm track.
Barrier 6 looks an ideal set up, and I expect Bowman to sit a few lengths off what looks to be a frantic tempo up front.
She has a dynamic turn of foot and we will see her peaking on Saturday.
She deserves to be favourite with $3.20 looking over the odds for mine. I expect her to start sub $3.
