28/08/21 Horse racing tips & best bets from early market movers

Kembla Crunches
AAPTagged: Horse Racing Tips
A number of big betting moves have been seen early at this Saturday's Kembla meeting, where plenty of stakes action will be run and won.
On what is a cracking day for punters around Australia, Caulfield has also attracted the attention of punters with a high-profile Everest invitee expected to resume in winning form.
Each of the below selections exhibit traits of sophisticated investment in early betting markets and if they firm further as we approach the jump, you can bet with confidence.
Caulfield Tips
Mahamedeis
Is likely to race back in the field however with a solid tempo in this clash, expect his run-on profile to be well suited.
He had genuine excuses at Moonee Valley (4 of 9) last start, when the on-pace bias of the day wasn't in his favour.
Expect to see him stoke up late here and be rattling home over the top.
Hersey
Just missed behind a very smart one (Gimmie Par) here last start, and I suspect that is why she is being truck-loaded in early betting.
She should get the perfect tow into the race, in the moving line with cover before presenting late.
Oliver typically strikes hot form at this time of year and should be followed more closely.
Masked Crusader
Big boom horse who has already secured an invite to The Everest.
He is clearly all quality, and gets the ideal Caulfield speed map tracking wide throughout with cover, off a hot tempo.
Should simply blow them all away.
Sierra Sue
Is possibly still underrated by the market and could start shorter.
She has been ultra-impressive winning her last two starts, flying late to win at Group 2 level here last time out in the PB Lawrence.
The soft track suits (5:3-0-0) and if more rain arrives expect she is even more suited.
Kembla Grange Tips
Lord Zoulander
Is likely to find the lead in this and if the Kembla track is favouring on-speed, expect him to be very hard to run down.
He is now rock hard fit and may have a fitness edge on a few of the opposition, some who are still relatively early in their preparations.
The Tommy Berry booking adds plenty of confidence.
Arnaqueur
Loves the Kembla Grange circuit (2:2-0-0) and did overcome a wide run here last start to win.
He looks to be well above average and at start 5, is still very much an untapped commodity.
It was a tough effort last start and he should take good improvement and strip much fitter here second-up.
Animate
Looked unsuited last start when leaders held the advantage and he raced well back in the field.
This is a completely different set up and with a soft track (7:4-1-1), he can improve significantly.
I consider Collet an upgrade from Brenton Avdulla and he should give the horse every chance.
Andermatt
Lightly raced galloper who is 1 from 1 at this track/distance and has recently trialled like a bomb!
He clearly has talent after being targeted at stakes races early in his career, and drops way down in grade to a Benchmark 78 for this.
With a huge class drop and the leading rider J Mac booked, expect him to be winning.
