Albion Park Race 3 Tip #3 Maywyns Best @ 6:43pm  $19

Maywyns Best can find the lead here and with the way he is going, he will be hard to run down.

He does his best work out in-front and I expect him to giving them something to chase tonight.

I have marked him $4.20 and the bookies clearly have a different opinion, offering him up at $19.

He might face some early pressure early on, but if he can land in the lead he'll prove hard to catch.  

 

Albion Park Race Race 6 Tip #2 Paratrouper @ 8:12pm $6.50

Paratrouper trialled well a few weeks ago. Despite being ridden away from the fence and under a hold throughout, he got to the line very well.

He has natural speed, so with the good gate tonight I am happy to be on this horse who looks to be well above average.

Looks overs at $6.50. 

 

Albion Park Race Race 9 Tip #1 Melpark Magic @ 9:32pm $6.00

Melpark Magic is a genuine trotter when he is able to lead. Two starts ago, he ran along in-front and gave nothing a chance.

He is normally safe and quick away from the tapes, so hopefully he can do that tonight.  

He'll lead them up and they will have a hard time running him down from the standing start over the shorter trip.

I have him marked $3.10 and the $6.00 currently on offer is too good to refuse.

Bathurst Race 8 Tip #5 No Motive @ 9:45pm  $1.45

No Motive has been impressive in her two starts to date and rates on top here.

The filly was narrowly beaten on debut in a very strong race in Victoria, before enduring a tough run in her heat of this series and finishing third.

Well-drawn here, look for driver Luke McCarthy to push forward with the two-year-old who can outclass her rivals.

 

Bathurst Race 10 Tip #9 Catch A Moment @ 10:50pm  $2.40

Catch A Moment looks to have the class edge on his rivals in the final race of the night.

The four-year-old was super impressive winning his heat of this series. That effort followed a brilliant win at Menangle in slick time. 

These form-lines read well for a race of this standard.

Despite the awkward draw, trainer/driver Amanda Turnbull has opted to steer Catch A Moment instead of stablemate Shoobee Doo which is another sign that she's the one to beat. 

 

Newcastle Harness Race 4 Tip #4 Don Boston @ 7:36pm  $2.45

Don Boston returns to Newcastle and will be hard to catch here.

The 11-year-old is in career best form and drops a long way in class after competing against some of the strongest horses in the country.

The popular pacer will push for the lead and look to run his rivals off their legs in typical Don Boston fashion.
