Some of the regulars cropped up in the weekly wonders this time, with a number of familiar faces having a week to remember.

Heading the pack with an outrageous 666% POT was NSW form specialist Brad Davidson.

Davo bagged 4 of his 8 tips at a mouth-watering average price of $15.32.

His biggest inroads came at Randwick last Saturday, where he tipped two roughies including $35 pop Torrens.

Davo's tips are sure to be popular this Saturday.

Southern NSW race caller Anthony Manton was next over the line.

He nailed 6 winners across the Nowra and Queanbeyan cards at a fat average price of $4.58.

This drove an 83% POT, or $1,250 for everyone who followed Manton's tips with $100 bets.

Considering that Manton is now boasting a three-day tip streak, plenty will be on his selections next time out.

It was another caller who rounded out the podium, after Richard Bell cleaned up at Belmont on Wednesday.

The Sandgroper is usually finding winners at the trots, but this week showed he's more than capable at the thoroughbreds.

He bagged 2 winners at Belmont including $11.60 hope Shoes Of Ekraar in the last.

This drove a thumping 104% POT for Bell and his followers.

Tassie racing journo and form judge Peter Staples put in a typically strong showing, this time delivering a 60% POT.

Staples secured 4 of the 8 winners at Devonport on Sunday, at an average price of $3.20.

They were also the last 4 winners on the card, putting a big smile on anyone's face who took Staples' tips in the quaddie.

What an effort.

Colin Hodges made yet another appearance in the weekly wonders after his tips generated $440 in cash profit.

This was thanks to 4 winners across Gilgandra and Bathurst, at a meaty average price of $4.60.

The voice of racing in NSW's Central-West continues to be one of the country's most reliable tipsters.
