Randwick Race 3 Tip #5 Affinity Beyond $3.00 

This filly by Starspangledbanner has been dominant at her first two runs this prep and looks set to make it three wins on-the-trot here. 

She's showed great gate speed at both her wins, the latest jumping from the widest barrier in a field of 12 over 1000m at Wagga. 

She's drawn 12 of 12 again for this hit-out and tackles 1100m for the first time. However, her recent efforts indicate that she's more than capable of handling the assignment. 

The stable has opted for regular jockey Simon Miller, which will ensure the tactics remain the same.

If she can run out a strong 1100m, she just wins. 

 

Randwick Race 8 Tip #11 True Detective $8.00 

This gelding from the Chris Waller stable returns to the races off a strong Rosehill trial. 

His early performances suggest he's blessed with plenty of talent and once matured, he could turn into a genuine galloper.

• impressive first-up record (2:1-1-0) 
• proven at the track (3:1-1-0) 

With plenty of speed engaged in this race, the map and race shape looks perfect for him.
