Albion Park Race 3 Tip #7 Justa Little Bit $4.00

Justa Little Bit (7) is a nice horse. He trialled in NSW and went very well and was in cruise control last time.

I think he will be wound up ready to go tonight and can charge over from the wide gate. If he finds the front, they will have a tough time catching him. I have him marked $2.50.

Manila playboy (11) has obvious ability, but didn’t beat much in his first start. The extreme gate is no luxury here, so he has to be second pick. He's a nice horse though and will race well. I have him marked $3.40.

Big Wheels (3), Feels Lika Boss (4) and Uncle Shank (5) are all above average horses and with a slice of luck, they all  have a chance in this one tonight. I have them all marked $13.20 and are outside chances.

 

Albion Park Race 8 Tip #10 Which Hunt $2.70

If they drive Which Hunt (10) for her speed late, she should be too quick for these. She matches up well here and just looks simply too quick late over the longer trip. I have her marked $2.50 even from the back row and she'll be hard to beat.

Feels Lika Winner (4) looks the obvious danger. She went well first up in QLD last time and if she can slot in and find a nice spot, she will run a nice race. I have her marked $4.20 and a clear second pick.

Betterthandiamonds (5) will launch early to try find the fence and then take a sit as she did last time over this journey. I’m convinced the 2138m isn’t ideal for her so for that reason, I have her marked $7.60. I will need a decent price to get involved.

Toanui spirit (2) has been going ok but will need to lead this race to be winning. She has good gate speed and I expect her to hunt up in the middle and make an attempt to wrestle the lead away. Despite this, I have her rated at $8.20. 

 

Albion Park Race 9 Tip #3 Gleneagle Warrior $2.00

Hard to go past Gleneagle Warrior (3) here. He went like an absolute rocket last time first-up for the new camp and will be ready to go tonight.

If he can hunt through and lead these, it will be all but race over. Even if he was forced to sit outside Will The Wizard (5), I still think he can win. I have him marked $1.80 and am quite keen.

As mentioned, Will The Wizard (5) is a chance of leading and if he finds that spot, he looks the only danger. He is a good leader and will give a sight in front if he gets across. I have him marked $3.00.

I'll be shocked if the winner doesn’t come from one of the two horses above. 

Our Balou (7) is next best. I have him marked at $21 though, and he will need all sorts of luck. He will need to be at his best, but from the gate I can't see that happening.

Menangle Race 4 Tip #4 Im Bruce Almighty $4.00

I'm Bruce Almighty (4) looks too tough for his rivals here.

I was impressed with the gelding's efforts in his two attempts to qualify for the final of this series, where he endured tough runs on both occasions. 

With a friendly draw, driver David Hewitt may look to try and lead as he did last start.

There doesn't appear to be a lot of mid-race pressure here, meaning Bruce should get every chance to hold off his biggest threat in The Texas Ranger (8).

 

Menangle Race 6 Tip #10 Benicio $2.20

Benicio (10) will be very hard to beat here.

The seven-year-old has been improving with every run this preparation, each of which has been in a much harder grade than what he meets here.

Driver Luke McCarthy will be aiming to find the front and if successful, I think the horse's class will show.

Should be too tough to catch.  

 

Newcastle Race 4 Tip #10 Ashark $3.40

Ashark (10) can make it back-to-back wins in the feature event of the night.

I tipped this horse a fortnight ago in a heat of this series and his performance exceeded my expectations, pulling out three-wide with 800m to go and out-staying his rivals.

While this is a Group One event, the field isn't overly strong.

A decent draw should see the gelding have a nice enough run throughout the race, allowing him to show his quality at the back-end. 

Ashark appears the class runner.
