Hong Kong racing continues today, with 8 races to be held on Happy Valley's narrowest 'C+3' course.
The weather will be fine with the ground set to be good to firm.
Apprentice jockey Jerry Chau scored a double last Sunday at Sha Tin and only needs two more wins to reach his 70th victory in Hong Kong.
This 21-year-old local has 5 mounts on Wednesday, including last time winners Noble Desire and Harmony Fire. Both look to have a good chance.
Happy Valley Race 1 #6 Red Elysees
Red Elysees is an honest 8YO who is always in the finish and is now reaching peak fitness.
First-up over 1600m at Sha Tin, he showed good speed to be beaten by 4.5 lengths which was an encouraging effort considering the distance was too short for him.
In readiness for this clash, jockey Luke Ferraris has had two good gallops with him during morning trackwork and he has progressed well after a warm up run.
He's far better suited out to 1800m and looks set for his first Happy Valley victory tonight.
Happy Valley Race 6 #3 Harmony Fire
Harmony Fire was a three-time course and distance winner last season, including a Class 3 victory on 9 June.
Last season he was small in size but powerful. He filled out over the summer break, gaining 20 pounds which will make him stronger this campaign.
This horse had an impressive barrier trial last Tuesday, where he jumped fast and stayed on well.
Jumping from gate 2 for this hit-out suits and with Jerry Chau on board again, look for him to find the box seat.
If he lands there, expect him to win again from this position.
