Despite having Aces Are Trumps lining up from the 8 box, he should prove too classy for his rivals.
His last 3 starts have been in metro grade and his third running 29.94 at The Meadows would have him winning this by 5 lengths.
He's a very classy conveyance and is well suited from the wider draw.
Sandown Race 2 Tip #4 Aston Ulysses $3.50
Aston Ulysses was super at his 715m debut and normally I have a rule about backing dogs second-up at 700m+, but I'm making an exception today.
This is a very plain field and I think he can find the front with ease. When he finds the bunny, he's very hard to get past.
The vacant box to his inside only aids him and no speed to his outside should see him get a clear run to the first turn.
