Best plays for Wednesday Racing in Tassie

Tassie Racing heads back to Launceston on Wednesday night, for a competitive eight-race card which kicks off at 6.19 pm (AEST).
The track is currently rated a Soft 5 and clear weather is forecast, following rain fall over the last 24 hours.
The rail is out 9m from the 1200m mark to the winning post, whilst the remainder of the circuit is out 5.5m.
At this set up, I expect the track to play fair but punters should keep a close watch on the first few races to get a guide on how the surface will play.
Best bets from Jacob Beavis
Launceston Race 4 Tip #1 Bogan Bill $5.00
The lightly-raced seven-year-old gelding will be looking to win for the second time in just his sixth career start.
He scored a comfortable 1.25 length maiden win first-up over 1220m at Launceston, before producing an eye-catching fifth over the same track and trip last start.
I like that he is a month in between runs, stepping up to 1400m and carrying 56kg down from 59kg due to the 3kg apprentice claim.
From barrier 1 here, look for jockey Ianish Luximon to settle him at the tail before pressing the button down the straight, giving him every possible chance to run home strongly.
Launceston Race 7 Tip #2 Invincible Rock $2.90
Trainer Sigrid Carr will also ride this six-year-old gelding.
Carr has been in consistent form of late, especially when riding her horses.
Invincible Rock has won two and placed in three of his last five starts, and his track record is consistent (13:2-5-3).
Last start over 1120m at Launceston, he won by half a length when racing on the pace and proving hard to catch after taking the lead with 200m to go.
I have no doubt he will strip fitter for this clash given he was two months between runs, and he takes on another small field with very few chances.
From barrier 2, he should get a lovely run on the pace and he'll prove hard to catch again.
