We round up some our leading form analysts to give us their free best bets for today's action around the country.

 

 

Eagle Farm Race 6 Tip #7 Goldschlager $4.00

On a small card where there are several short priced favourites, I see this Chris Munce trained filly representing the best value given her drop in class.

Last start in a Class 2 at Ipswich she drifted back in the field to be last on the turn.

After balancing up she surged late to finish second only a length behind the winner.

For today's assignment she gets the spacious Eagle Farm track that will be more to her liking and from the good draw of barrier 3, Brad Stewart can settle her midfield in the run.

Look for Stewart to get some clear air in the straight and power her home over the top of them for an overdue win.

Free Horse Racing Tips from Luke Hovhanesian

 

Randwick-Kensington Race 2 Tip #13 Yatsumi $17.00

This 2YO filly trained by the Snowdens looks to have come back a treat after a very short first campaign.

In her only trip to the races so far, she contested a mid week meeting at Warwick Farm where she finished a respectable 4th, only 1.75 lengths behind Mr Mozart. That horse has since contested much stronger races.

There have been 4 subsequent winners from that race, including a horse called Syracuse who finished 9th, 5 lengths off Mr Mozart.

In her latest trial on July 5th, Yatsumi took a sit on the field and was strong to the line beating a young horse called Beckons.

Beckons contested a maiden grade contest at Goulburn last Saturday as equal favourite to Syracuse, and the two horses paired off in the straight with Syracuse getting the upper hand late.

These are strong form-lines and the price put up at the moment is well over the odds.

With the good draw and the booking of Kerrin McEvoy, I can see a strong claim to play this race each way or even 1 unit win and 3 units place.

Randwick-Kensington Race 7 Tip #11 Jenga $4.40

This looks a genuine race in two between Jenga and the Waller trained Irish Angel. 

Jenga arrives here off one trial and will no doubt be primed by Team Hawkes to produce a big run over the 1100m. 

From barrier 6, look for Tommy Berry to dictate to his rivals from the front and prove awfully hard to catch. 

It is worth noting the predicted tail wind in the straight today. With winds up to 70km/h expected, it will only aid the prospects of on-pace runners like Jenga. 

If there is an obvious bias to leaders, I expect the filly to start much shorter than the current $4.40 quote.
