We spruiked this Gollan trained mare as our best bet last Saturday, but she was scratched at the barrier due to some nasal discharge after being heavily backed into $2.10 favourite.

All her three wins have been at this 1200m trip, with one of those victories being at this track.

She is the top rated horse in this field and with apprentice Madeleine Wishart claiming 3kg, she carries the lightest weight in the field with 56.5 kgs which is another big tick.

There looks to be solid early tempo, so from barrier 2 Wishart can elect to drop her back to midfield and save her for one big sprint at them.

Watch for this mare to finish hard and over the top of them late.

Wyong Race 4 Tip #10 Russbuss $5.10

This Bjorn Baker trained filly strikes a winnable race second-up and looks set to break her maiden today.

She was given two nice trials in readiness for her first-up tilt, where she ran an admirable third behind the talented Joyous Legend.

The stable has booked the services of the ever-reliable Tim Clark, who knows his way around the Wyong track well.

I expect the top two in the betting to lead, with the fitness of Russbuss likely to prove the difference late.
