Rick Morris and  Luke Hovhanesian reveal their free tips for Tuesday gallops around Australia.

Rick has assessed the Hamilton card and has identified a best bet later in the day, whilst Luke has found one at Grafton.

Hamilton racecourse is currently rated a Soft 5, with the rail in the true position the entire circuit.

Meanwhile Grafton is currently rated a Good 4, with the rail out 3m the entire circuit.

Hamilton Race 2 #3 Finneas $2.70

This son of Helmut hasn’t been seen since a nice debut run over the Warrnambool carnival.

He ran third over 1200m and was posted three wide the trip, before being sent to the paddock.

He takes on this first-up assignment as a four year old now and as a more mature athlete.

Jockey Declan Bates will get a cushy steer from barrier 2 and will most likely box seat.

His competitors in this maiden have had chances to break through recently and haven’t got the job done, so this looks a perfect race to kick off this campaign.

With even luck in run this time around, he will be very hard to hold out.

Grafton Race 2 Tip #3 Rock Odyssey $12.00

This Grafton trained gelding gets his chance to break his maiden status on his home track.

While he has only had the three runs this campaign, they have all had merit to their performance.

Trainer Daniel Want seems to have figured out a good racing pattern for this tried 5YO and his last start second at Lismore impressed me.

I was shocked to see the $16 posted in early markets and he has already come in for some support. If he gets conditions to suit, I can see him starting in single digits come race time.

There is rain expected to hit Grafton and if the track downgrades, expect those up on-speed to hold an advantage.

Jockey Jodi Worley retains the ride after nearly pinching the race last start, and I am expecting similar tactics again tomorrow.

Look for Jodi to jump cleanly from the wide barrier and push forward.

There seems to be some speed inside her so if she can slot in behind the leaders, Rock Odyssey will have every chance turning for home.

At the current quote, he represents great value in particularly on an EW basis.
