But something out of left field finished on top, with the TAB's tips from big bets generating the biggest profit on turnover (POT).

These selections reflect where the big money from pro punters is going, so it's no surprise to see it come out on a top on a day where the smart money was spot on.

The five tips from TAB big bets included Caulfield Cup winner Incentivise and The Everest champ Nature Strip, who both saluted as favourites on Saturday.

But TAB's big bets also included Saltpeter, who took out the first at Caulfield at fat $14 odds.

Punters who followed all of these TAB big bets ended up with a thumping 296% POT.

You know punters will be tuning in to these racing tips next Saturday.

Onto the media experts and Stella Hounsell from Best Bets put in an impressive performance.

The Sydney form expert cleaned up at Randwick on Saturday.

She jagged 4 of the day's 10 winners at a juicy average price of $7.

This not only drove a 180% POT, but saw Hounsell dish up her fourth straight Saturday profit.

With the quality racing in Sydney racing far from done, Hounsell's followers will be hoping she can make it five on the trot this weekend.

Also boasting an impressive tip streak is SEN's Andrew Slevison.

The form judge recorded his third straight weekly profit on Saturday, thanks to some accurate tipping.

He bagged 5 winners across Caulfield and Randwick at a superb strike rate of 71%.

They also got up at a handy average price of $3.42 to drive a 144% POT.

Cracking stuff.

Outside of the major metro meets and resident form expert Ben Beare cleaned up deluxe.

Beare was bagging big winners across the lesser-known tracks in Victoria and NSW.

Highlights included $18 hope Calmer Karma at Nowra and $23 pop Sir Freddie at Pakenham.

All up, Beare steered his followers into 15 winners at a fat $6.78 average price.

On top of the 126% POT this generated, Beare is now boasting a three-day winning streak.

Look out for his next selections.

Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week

First up is the trots and SKY Racing's Matt Young fared best with a cracking 133% POT.

This was after the race caller and broadcaster bagged 5 of the 7 winners at Collie on Sunday.

They saluted at rock solid average odds of $3.26 in what was a complete tipping display from Young.

Given he's now showing a three month winning streak at all tracks, you know this Sandgroper's next selections will be popular.

Fellow SKY Racing caller Jim Jacques took out the top spot on the harness leaderboard.

The Crow Eater jagged 9 of the 11 winners at Murray Bridge on Tuesday, in a phenomenal display of accuracy.

And with his other 2 selections running a place, Jacques went agonizingly close to tipping the card.

And not many tipsters would be able to claim they've tipped an 11-race card before.

As it stands, Jacques clocked off with a huge 113% POT for his Murray Bridge effort.

Not bad at all.
