Today's edition of free best bets heads to Nowra, where punters have a 7 race card to dissect.

The rail is out 2m from 1200m-800m and out 3m 800m-350m, with the track rated a Heavy 9.

Nowra Race 2 Tip #8 Feudalist $3.20

This Capitalist colt finds a very winnable race today and looks well placed to break his maiden.

His last start second on a Heavy 10 was impressive and the extra 120m for this clash looks ideal.

The winner of that race, Rebel's Edge, looks a good type and was bringing strong form-lines into that race, with a 2.1-length fourth behind Honeycreeper.

Now third-up and reaching peak fitness, he looks primed to tackle the 1400m.

 

Nowra Race 4 Tip #3 Correlate $9.50

This 3YO filly by Not A Single Doubt looks well placed to return to the winner's circle today.

Her first-up run when she was caught wide throughout was a complete forgive.

She then dropped to 1200m second-up, where she showed early toe before struggling to find her stride in the straight.

She'll race against a lower class of galloper today and now stepping to the 1400m, she can find the front and dictate terms with the blinkers going back on.

She's bred to handle the Heavy track and with Brodie Loy aboard, she'll give a huge site at nice odds.
