Kensington Race 4 Tip #5 Badia $3.80

This filly by Snitzel has impressed at her last two runs.

She was luckless second-up at Warwick Farm after finishing 5 of 11, in what has proven to be a very strong form-line. 

She was then set an enormous task at Kembla Grange last start, when sitting beyond mid-field behind a slow tempo before finishing strongly into second. 

Punters should expect Tommy Berry to make use of the good draw here in barrier two and sit in the first half of the field with cover, before unleashing this filly over the top late. 

Her form-lines stack up, the step-up to 1400m fourth-up is ideal and she looks the best horse in the race.

With even luck in the run, she'll be breaking through for a maiden victory.

Kensington Race 1 Tip #11 Tight Ropes $7.00

I thought this two-year-old filly was a winning chance on debut and there was plenty of market support to suggest she'd run well.

Unfortunately she over-raced early and then positioned behind a wall of horses from the 400m to the 200m, before the jockey could fully ride her out.

The winning horse Rulership was just too good on the day, but he looks top class having gone on to finish a narrow second in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude.

Expect the filly to appreciate the step-up in distance to 1100m, as well as the 1kg weight drop from her first-up run.
