The biggest card of the Autumn is here with Golden Slipper day at Rosehill.
Five Group 1's highlight a stacked card of racing.
The track is currently rated Good 4 and with scorching weather hitting NSW at the moment, it may even improve to a rock-hard Good 3.
The rail is in the 2m position, and as often in this case those up on speed are benefitted.
However, the track should play well and most races will be tempo related.
There is plenty of value to be had and our experts have dropped their top plays below.
Rosehill Tip from Michael Gannon
Rosehill Race 4 #4 Matcha Latte $9.00
He was plagued by rain-affected tracks in the Spring but is ready to show his best on a dry deck over 2000m.
His first-up run in the Hobartville was fantastic, he had excuses 2nd up and will be primed for a peak run 3rd-up.
He maps to sit on speed and will be perfectly poised on the turn for home.
Great each way bet.
Rosehill Tip from Dean Watling
Rosehill Race 8 #5 Cylinder $4.00
Cylinder is the best bet on the program at Rosehill.
He brings the ideal set-up to the Golden Slipper with the historical data greatly affecting the race.
He brings strong Todman form lines with this being a key lead-up race.
Looking back, he has always held a great SP price profile and he arrives here ready to peak 3rd up with the James Cummin's polish.
When 3rd up his runner's lob at a 28.6% strike rate, which is insanely good.
He maps to land leaders back and should be too strong for them late.
Rosehill Tip from Luke Hovhanesian
Rosehill Race 10 #2 Sky Command $11.00
Sky Command returned from a short spell two weeks ago, off the single trial.
He was tardy out of the gates and the jockey on that occasion, Regan Bayliss, had to really rev him up to get him in his normal front running position.
He had Jump the broom kick up underneath and had to sit parked in the breeze.
It was a strange old run as when they swung the bend he faded badly, but right before the line he knuckled down and ran past the post strongly.
He will strip much fitter from that assignment and now returns with a great set-up.
He strikes a good surface and gets a draw that will allow him to kick forward and hold the rail.
Tim Clark takes the reins and who better to control the tempo in front.
Think he can run a bottler at a great each-way price.
