Comment and top ratings: Has not been far off some smart 3yo%u2019s in stakes class of late (Decent Raine went by her late last time) and back to BM70 here with same weight she looks suited.

 

Race 2 Lexus Holiday Plate (bm70) - 6. Murrami Express

Comment and top ratings: Resumes. New stable. Looked sharp in jumpout easily beating key rival here Umgawa. Ran very well here as 2yo off wide run and form around Lakeside run strong for this. Market lead?

 

Race 3 Schweppervescence (bm100) - 6. High Emocean

Comment and top ratings: 9-weeks fresh but she has very good staying form off little freshens and savaged line in recent jumpout. Has beaten Persan and tested MV Cup winner Lunar Flare. Again, would love market push%u2026?

 

Race 4 Rubaroc (bm70) - 4. Lady D'oro

Comment and top ratings: Resumes. Close-up/ Under hold in jumpout and went well. Unlucky not to test handy Diamonds fresh-up last prep. All her fresh form is good. Drawn to swoop. The overs $7 ??

 

Race 5 Myer Giftorium (bm70) - 14. Way To Go Paula

Comment and top ratings: Did rocket home against pattern Ballarat 2nd-up then wide/ went early last time and just couldn%u2019t finish off. Drawn to be saved for one run here. Has beaten Annavisto at 1400m. Not sacking!

 

Race 6 Kennedy Hcp - 4. Tavidance

Comment and top ratings: Resumes. Ran very well in hot form race here in October. Looked to be jogging winning recent jumpout. Doesn%u2019t always turn up but on his day, he is very good.

 

Race 7 Furphy Festive Sprint (bm84) - 5. It'sourtime

Comment and top ratings: Top return win giving weight to subsequent impressive winner Duchess Of Dorsett, and he ran good time. Kept fresh. Won 2nd-up in first prep then G2 placed before being on heels of handy Oxley Road.

 

Race 8 Lovethehorse Trophy (bm84) - 9. High 'n' Dry

Comment and top ratings: Ran well 2nd-up on unsuitable (bottomless) track then chased promising one home Pakenham and ran away from third. Drops 52kg here and genuine speed (on paper) suits him.

 

Race 9 G.h. Mumm Christmas Plate-bm78 - 5. Winsum

Comment and top ratings: Had the run but strong return win off back of nice jumpout and was on the heels on Minhaaj (beat Yulong Command) when 2nd-up last prep. Like him drawn out.
