18/08/21 Deane Lester tips & best bet for Sandown Hillside

Sandown is the venue for racing in Victoria today, with the Hillside track playing host to eight competitive races.

The weather is overcast, the track is rated a Soft 6 and the rail is out 9m for the entire circuit.

Deano's top tip at Sandown comes in Race 1, a maiden clash over 1400m.

 

Tip is #7 Grappa Di Moscato.

This Freedman trained galloper has trialled very well in preparation for her return to racing today.

She showed good talent last preparation and kicks off her Sping campaign today with big races in sight including the VRC Oaks.

Deane believes she should be favourite for this race and looks well placed for a victory.
