16/5/20 Horse racing tips from early market movers

Pro's find stable switch & Cups contender

This week punters have picked off mispriced runners at both key venues in Melbourne and Sydney.
At Flemington an exciting stayer and possible Cups prospect is on the rise and has not been missed in early betting.
Whilst at Rosehill, an intriguing stable switch has been found by punters, where the new yard will be highly motivated to achieve success.
The below moves in early markets exhibit traits of more than just standard punter investment, and any further pushes closer to jump would add extreme confidence.
Flemington Tips
Salorsci
Won at Warrnambool last start over 1400m, in what appeared to be a classic Lindsay Smith stable set-up where they placed him to perfection.
I doubt they would back up here if the horse hadn't shown improvement and you can be confident he's here to win.
Drawn close in gate 5, expect him to receive plenty of speed map favours and a charmed run throughout.
Rupture
Could not have been more impressive on the provincial and country cups scene, where he was a dominant winner at both Werribee and Warracknabeal.
He then came to town last start and brained a good class field at Flemington.
The 2000m looks ideal here and he is no doubt on a steep upward trajectory, and bound for some major Spring targets.
Should simply win.
Orienzel
Is from the shrewd Mick Price yard, where it is often worth following the money trail.
He won at Pakenham last start after he was heavily backed late in betting, before giving nothing else a chance.
In what appears to be only a moderately run race, he can take advantage of racing close to speed again.
Look for him to be running away from them all in the straight.
Rosehill Tips
Newsreader
Came with a long sustained run from well back last time at Randwick, when he only just missed by 0.5 lengths over 1000m.
The step-up to 1100m is now perfect and should give him more than enough time to reel in the leaders on this occasion.
Looks to have plenty of talent and with Brenton “the gun” Avdulla engaged, expect him to get every chance.
Dawn Passage
Won the Hawkesbury Guineas last time out in ultra dominant fashion by 2.8 lengths.
This appears a slightly harder race, however he certainly deserves his chance and there still looks to be plenty of upside.
Looks to receive the perfect run, sitting just in behind the leading pair before darting through to charge away. Yes.
Military Magic
Talented three-year-old filly from the right yard in Team Snowden, with a big jockey booking of James McDonald.
The rider would have had his choice of most of these runners and has decided to stick, which is a good lead in itself.
Second-up now looks perfect following the tough on-speed run last start, which should have her cherry ripe for this.
Noble Boy
The popular “New Trainer” theory is right in play here with this runner, who is the subject of a well-publicised and brutal stable switch.
Clare Cunningham will be desperate to show the ownership group she is worthy and would have this horse very well primed.
Readied with two recent trials, expect him to go very close and he could start shorter.
