Everest Day Market Leads
AAPTagged: Horse Racing Tips
Punters are out in force this week for Everest Day and have been active picking off the early prices.
At Caulfield they are keen on one to roll a red-hot favourite early on the day in Race 1.
Whilst at Randwick there is a Kosciuszko runner that bookmakers appear to have mis-priced!
Caulfield Tips
Seiners Express
Has the ability and class to topple the hot-pot Eagles Crag ($2.10) in this.
He is now rock hard fit and did enough (5 of 13) behind the smart Mr Brightside last start, to suggest this race suits.
The Maher/Eustace and Teo Nugent combination can be lethal.
Extreme Flight
The stable have been patient and have progressed him through the grades with style.
He was wide at Sandown last start over the same 1400m distance and still proved far too strong.
Although drawn the outside (gate 10) if they find the moving line with cover, there should be no issues.
Kapalua Sunset
Simply brained them (7 lengths) last start at Kyneton to break the maiden, when very short in betting ($1.50).
Prebble sticks and would be looking to follow this horse all the way through Spring.
Straight to town now and why not!
Buffalo River
Did have good support in betting ($2.70 into $2.40) last start in the Weekend Hussler before finishing a brave 2 of 9.
He is a tough on speed horse and is likely to be rolling them along again in this.
If he receives any cheap sectionals, it will take a good one to run him down.
Randwick Tips
High Supremacy
The Michael and Richard Freedman stable are very shrewd and are having a great run at present.
He drops back from a harder race in the Silver Eagle last start, and should appreciate the weaker opposition.
With good speed expected up front, his run-on profile should be well suited. Look for him to be storming over the top late.
Nadaraja
Has won his past 3 starts in excellent style and certainly looks a major player in this year’s Kosciuszko.
The last start Scone win was simply breath-taking and whilst this is much harder, he appears up to it.
Credit to connections for allowing the bush jockey Matthew Palmer to retain the ride.
Sky Lab
Drops back from the hot Group 1 grade of the Epsom Handicap and should relish the Group 3 company of this.
He had a big boom on him as a 3yo and could easily take the next step here.
The stable clearly have a huge opinion of him after choosing to run in a big Group 1 feature (Epsom) last time out.
Equation
Jumping back up to 1400m appears to be the key here and he could easily jump out of the ground.
Last start was a complete forgive run where he as held up at a vital stage and never really clear.
Given any luck this time out, he should be all over the top of them late. Yes.
