Bathurst hosts competitive Monday racing this week, with a solid seven race card scheduled.
The track is currently rated a Soft 7 and mostly fine weather is predicted for the NSW Central Tablelands region.
The rail is in the true position, which should give each runner their chance.

From the stewards
The horse of note in the pre-stewards report is Mont Genep in race 5.
The Time Thief mare was bumped on jumping last start and ended up racing wide throughout, before fading to last on the heavy going.
I love horses coming back from Highway races and from a better draw here, expect her to get a good run and be right in this finish.
Jockey to follow
Greg Ryan has great stats at Bathurst.
Ryan has had 52 rides here in the past 12 months, winning 10 at a strike rate of 19%.
Ryan is booked for just 2 rides, with best chance coming in Race 5 on More Than A Samba
I've identified 4-races on today's card that represent good betting opportunities. Below is my best bet on the card and my quaddie numbers.

Bathurst Race 3 Tip #8 Nicci's Fling $2.60
The Nicconi filly looks well placed to break her maiden here.
She handled the tight Wyong circuit well on debut and when they straightened up, we got to see her talent.
She'll no doubt take massive improvement into her second career start.
The extra 100m plays right into the filly's hands, as does the drop back to country grade and racing against her own sex.
From barrier 9, look for jockey Kathy O'Hara to find a spot mid-field in the running line before peeling wide on turning for home.
With clear air in the straight, she is going to be right in the finish.
