Caulfield Cash In
AAPTagged: Horse Racing Tips
With a huge card of stakes racing at Caulfield this Saturday, early markets have again been attacked by punters picking off the value.
In the feature PB Lawrence Stakes, punters are keen on a noted front runner who will prove very hard to run down if he gets to the front.
Whilst at Kembla Grange, a number of high-quality horses return and have been singled out for specific attention in betting.
Caulfield Tips
Lunar Flare
After recent racing over further, back to 1700m for this assignment now suits where he should be one of the strongest late.
She was good her last start when 4 of 10, after getting too far back in the run and never a hope off the slow tempo.
Expect them to race a touch closer on this occasion and be in an ideal striking position.
Dark Dream
Made his return from Hong Kong here last start, where he finished 7 of 8 after finding the 1400m far too short.
The Hayes camp will be desperate to show their ability with him, and the rise in distance here should suit.
Daniel Stackhouse is an underrated rider and is right up to Saturday metro grade. Respect.
Streets Of Avalon
Loves to lead and grind them all into the ground and is likely to find the front again here.
He was good first-up when placing 2 of 12 in the Bletchingly, and should take good improvement from that run going into this.
If they allow him to cruise across and reel off a cheap sectional, expect him to be very hard to run down.
The Inferno
Singapore superstar with a near perfect record (9:8-1-0) who resumes after a long 41 week break.
They have engaged Damien Lane to ride which is a huge tick and shows the horse must be going well enough.
If money arrives close to start time, expect him to be in the finish.
Kembla Grange Tips
Mamaragan
Was a high-quality 2YO who returns here a year older and strikes a race that does lack depth.
With two solid trial hit-outs recently, expect her to be forward enough to be winning.
Expect them to slot in mid-field with cover and she just needs a touch of tempo to be getting home hard over the top.
Baachanalia
Godolphin 3YO who must be showing the team plenty at home to warrant this early betting move.
He did trial well recently and from gate 3, should have the run of the race favours just in behind the speed.
They have opted to take on older horses here, which is a key sign of confidence.
Tiger Of Malay
Is raced by the high-profile China Horse Club, who will be expecting results from Richard and Michael Freedman.
He was excellent last preparation over the Brisbane Winter carnival, where last start did place 3 of 14 in the Group 1 JJ Atkins.
As a stallion prospect, expect them to have him ready to fire here first-up.
Bring The Ransom
Is now rock-hard fit and from a low draw (gate 3), expect her to race closer to speed on this occasion.
The Bowman booking is a big tick, as he would have had the choice of a few of these.
The drop back to 1400m could be key and if this is fast run, he should be the strongest late.
