Below are Michael's 3 best bets for Saturday night's Albion Park meeting.

 

Albion Park Race 1 Tip #4 Feelingforamiracle $5.50

I’m pretty keen on FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (4) here. He's in career best form, finds the front row over the mile and I think he can land in front.

I have him marked $2.10 because I have mapped him in front and from that spot, he will be very hard to beat.

LEFT A TERROR (3) gets a decent draw. He has gate speed and I do think he can find the fence and end up behind the top pick. Should get every chance from that spot and I have him marked $6.40.

If it’s a BBQ upfront, BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (9) is going to come into the race. She is racing very well and with the right run, can let down with a good sprint. I have her next best at $6.90

 

 

Albion Park Race 2 Tip #9 My Mastercraftsman $5.50

I think MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (9) can end up in a very good spot here.

IMA TOP TYCOON (2) looks the leader with ALWAYS IN COMMAND (3) being very keen to hold its spot outside the leader which should enable MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (9) to push through and land 1x1.

He will get every chance from there and looks an easy bet for me. I have him marked $3.70.

IMA TOP TYCOON (2) can find the front tonight and should run a better race with the noted front running driver on. I have him marked $4.

I have ALWAYS IN COMMAND (3) marked $4 as well. His run last week was full of merit but he is going to have to do all the work again. He is up to it but I can’t dive into any skinny quotes.

 

Albion Park Race 4 Tip #7 Lettucefirestar $9.50

LETTUCEFIRESTAR (7) is massive odds in early markets and I can’t fault the form .

He has a good amount of gate speed and gets a driver change tonight that can only help. I think he can cross this lot and have him marked $2.20.

He will be very hard to beat and because he has gate 7, I think they have missed him. Can lead these all the way.

SOLE AMBITION (3) is going ok and has decent gate speed and is the second pick. If he was able to find the front, he becomes a big chance but I’m just not sure he can. I have him marked at $5.40.

TENNYSON BROMAC (6) is a classy horse but I’m against the gate and map for him tonight. Not sure what he does from the tricky draw so I have him marked $9.80.

Menangle Race 1 Tip #2 Motu Gatecrasher $2.40

MOTU GATECRASHER (2) looks hard to beat in the first race on the card.

The gelding has been competitive in harder races recently, with this looking his easiest assignment since his previous win in late April.

From the draw and under the guidance of Luke McCarthy, the horse should find itself in a forward position and be given every opportunity to show his class.

 

Menangle Race 3 Tip #2 Royal Gamble $2.50

ROYAL GAMBLE (4) can bounce back into the winner's circle here.

The Callaghan-trained pacer brings super strong Newcastle form into this event. He's run second his past three starts and only being beaten by very highly graded horses on each occasion. 

With early speed horses drawn to his inside and out, driver Jack Callaghan will need to produce a smart steer. If he can, I think this horse is going well enough to take care of this field.
