What a cracking way to wind up your Saturday afternoon!
Hong Kong racing returns to Sha Tin this afternoon with 10 races at on the turf and dirt course.
Now that we're deep into November, we'll see lots of debutants show up in meetings with many of these gallopers likely to have bright futures You’remyeverything, who won on debut last Wednesday, fits that profile perfectly.
Jockey Luke Ferraris is starting to improve and recorded a win and one second last meeting. He will be on 6 gallopers today, including some underrated types like Bear Slam and Fast Pace. Punter should be wary of both runners.
Sha Tin Race 5 #7 Pins Prince $5.00
Pins Prince is one of the debutants in this race.
He'll run over 1200m in Class 4 level, which looks a great place to kick off his career.
The Nicks (Pins X O’Reilly) from Pins Prince has been so successful in Hong Kong, with many examples such as Packing Pins and Regency Legend.
Pins Prince trialled very well in Australia, with a victory against Incredulous Dream at Cranbourne before being shipped to Hong Kong.
He will be ridden by Joao Moreira, who partnered him in the barrier trials, so he'll have a good idea on how to ride this galloper.
Looks a huge chance on debut.
Sha Tin Race 6 #3 Viva Hunter $10.00
Viva Hunter showed his progress the during summer break and won easily by 2 lengths when first up.
He's since run fourth at his last two attempts, which is not a bad effort. However, those runs showed he'd be better suited stepping up in distance.
Viva Hunter is sired by El Roca, who progeny Lucky Patch and Everyone’s Delight also managed to win when stepping up to 1400m.
The rise in trip alone is enough to significantly improve his winning chances today.
