Caulfield is currently rated a Good 4, with the rail in the true position.

Caulfield Race 6 Schweppes Thousand Guineas 1600m (Group 1)
Look for Acting (6), I Am Eloquent (5) and Southbank (4) to set a steady tempo up-front for this Group 1 clash over the mile.
Barbie’s Fox (1) and Tenley (7) are likely to sit just behind them.
Flit (2) never got a crack at them last start, in what was a forgive run.
She possesses a good turn of foot and from barrier two, should get a dream run sitting just behind the leaders. She goes on top here.
Lyre (3) will appreciate the set weights and from barrier three, can sit mid-field with cover.
A winner of $1.4 million dollars which is far more than her rivals, the filly should get a lovely run in transit and is a clear second pick.
Missile Mantra has drawn barrier 11 for Damien Lane, who will be forced to ride her for luck once again.
She can run fast closing sectionals and will be rattling home from back in the field.
Mark's Race 6 Tips
1st Flit
2nd Lyre
3rd Missile Mantra
Caulfield Race 7 Caulfield Stakes 2000m (Group 1)
Another race with plenty of speed, with Gailo Chop (1) leading the way.
Black Heart Bart (9) and Gatting (11) will both push forward and sit right behind the leader.
Avilius is the best weight-for-age horse in this post Winx era.
His last start in the George Main Stakes in Sydney proved he is back better than ever.
From barrier 7, he will sit back in the field and wait for the right time to pounce. He should be far too good over the concluding stages to add another Group One to his already impressive portfolio.
Homesman (2) ran into an invigorated Black Heart Bart last start in the Underwood Stakes, but is racing in career best form.
He will sit mid-field and make his run in front of Avilius in the straight, giving the Godolphin galloper something to run down.
Gailo Chop (1) is now third-up and at his best, is a true weight-for-age star. He gets his chance to run a huge race here and can stick on for third.
Mark's Race 7 Tips
1st Avilius
2nd Homesman
3rd Gailo Chop
Flemington Race 8 Caulfield Guineas 1600m (Group 1)
The Holy One (4) and Roccabascerana (1) will make this a truly run race.
Alligator Blood (13) will cross quickly along with Super Seth (5) to sit just behind the leaders.
Dalasan has the addition of blinkers this time and the extra 200m is another positive.
He has drawn the car-park in barrier 18, but will come in three gates once the emergencies come out.
Bowman will ride him back in the field and needs luck on his side, but I expect him to rattle home down the outside and be too good.
Alligator Blood is unbeaten after five starts and there's no reason to drop off him now.
He looks the real deal and will get the run of the race and be very hard to run down. Clear second pick.
Skiddaw (6) is up in class here but could not have been more impressive winning recently at Caulfield over the mile.
He should be able to follow Alligator Blood into the race and can stick on for third.
Mark's Race 7 Tips
1st Dalasan
2nd Alligator Blood
3rd Skiddaw
Quaddie – 1,3,7 / 5,7 / 2,3,7,12 / 2,4,5,6,11
