12/07/21 Horse Racing Tips & best bets for today

Today's edition of free best bets covers both NSW meetings, Tamworth and Moruya.

The rail is out 1m at Tamworth with the track rated a Heavy 9.

Whilst down south, we similar conditions at Moruya a Heavy 8 on the cards and the rail situated in the true position.

Moruya Race 7 Tip #9 Distiliate $2.30

This Dissident filly ran 8th of 12 on a Rosehill Heavy 8 last start and looks very well suited back in class today.

On that occasion she led and sat on-pace, but found the 1100m a little too much against that class of galloper.

She's on the quick 9-day back up here, which will hold her in good stead on the rain affected surface.

Nick Heywood is in good form, riding 5 winners from his past 20 mounts.

Now jumping from barrier 6, expect Heywood to mark this filly urgent and make every post a winner.

She's building a nice record (7:3-2-0), ticks a lot of boxes and looks the winner in this race!

 

Tamworth Race 7 Tip #6 Kaufusi $4.20

This 3YO gelding failed last start but was found with blood from the nose, so had obvious excuses. 

He since trailed like a jet on a Heavy track and looks set to return to the winner's circle.

His only career start in the Heavy going came on debut when he ran 3rd on a bottomless track. 

Going off that form, it seems as though he relishes wet tracks and will therefor be well suited today.

Back to 1000m is ideal and from barrier 4, look for Mathew Palmer to settle his mount on-speed in the running line before peeling wide and finishing over the top.
