Hunter set to fire at Flemington

 AAP

Mark Hunter gave us another reminder of his tipping prowess last week.

Not only did two of his best bets get up at Moonee Valley, but he steered his followers into a quinella too.

Following his staking plan proved crucial, and meant the difference between a profit and a loss on the day.

That was at The Valley. This week's action is at Flemington.

What makes that so significant is that Flemington is the track where Hunter really comes into his own.

In fact over the past 365 days, Hunter leads the media experts for most cash profit generated at Flemington.

He's raked in more than $8K from $100 win bets over the past year at an impressive 36% POT.

Hunter's impressive Flemington form

With all eyes turning to Flemington as we head into the final stretch of the Spring carnival, there's few better tipsters you'd want in your corner.

If you'd like to get a hold Hunter's premium package for the Derby Day and the Cup carnival, including his exclusive staking plan, you can do that here.

Or, for a recap of his results on Cox Plate day, read on.

Mark Hunter's horse racing tips review at Moonee Valley 26th October 2019:

Race 2: Quinella #4 Esperance and #5 Fine Dane (Low)

Hunter suggested a quinella as his first bet of the day.

Despite coming from left-field, this proved to the perfect way to start the day's proceedings.

Fine Dane got the better of odds-on favourite Esperance.

The quinella paid a handy $3.10.

Race 4: #1 Wayupinthesky (Medium)

This filly from the Snowden yard didn't live up to expectations.

She finished 5th.

Race 5: #6 Heyington Station (Medium) and #7 Cielo D'oro (Medium)

Heyington Station ran a good race but just missed out on a placing.

Cielo D'oro meanwhile finished towards the tail end.

Race 6: #1 Battenburg (High)

Plenty were tipping Battenburg after his run behind the likes of Shadow Hero and Castelvecchio.

It was therefore disappointing to see him finish 6th.

Race 7: #4 Downdraft (Medium)

This international ran a solid 3rd in his first-up Australian run.

Race 8: #10 Sikandarabad (Medium)

Another solid run without placing for Sikandarabad.

He keeps on saying "back me next time" without getting the win.

Race 9: #9 Lys Gracieux (High)

He left it to late in the card but Hunter started making some serious inroads.

He suggested a high stake bet for the Cox Plate winner who proved herself to be an absolute star of the turf.

She paid $2.60, after being crunched on race day.

If you got on early with Hunter, $3.70 odds were available.

Race 10: #5 Amangiri (High)

Another winner with a high-stake bet here, with Amangiri just holding on for a tough win.

She paid a decent $2.40 on the tote, in what was a good note to end on.
