Today's Victorian race meeting takes place at Sandown Hillside, with eight races set to be run and won.

The weather is showery, the track is rated a Good 4 and the rail is situated in the 6m position for the entire circuit.

This Maher/Eustace trained galloper races first-up today, after having a promising debut campaign 12 months ago. 

He won two of his three hit-outs, including an impressive victory at The Valley where he defeated the talented Celestial Sol .

He trailled well leading into this and will be hard to beat with the 3kg claim for Josh Richards.

Deane believes he's a good price at $3.50 should start shorter.
