Deane Lester tips & best bets for Cranbourne Cup Day 2021

Cranbourne Cup Day highligts a cracking day of racing in Victoria today,  with the 9 race card attracting some quality fields.

The weather is showery, the track is rated a Heavy 8 and the rail is in the true position from the 1600m to the1000m mark and then out 3m for the remainder of the circuit.

This Chris Waller trained mare is a short priced favourite but is a worthy one according to Deane and is still a backable price.

She would've won the Hong Kong Stakes on Melbourne Cup Day, but was unlucky when being held up for a run at the 500m mark. 

She likes the sting out of the ground, winning one of three on rain affected going.
